We chose this location because we liked the retro look and the bright colors. By observing this location, we were immediately inspired by the physical fire station, in addition to everything that goes with it-fire, heat, sweat, danger. These are some of the rubbings I did of textures at the location. 
And here are my sketches of ideas so far
The artifacts we collected were a rock that looked like concrete with some other colors in it, a dead leaf, and a piece of broken glass. We're thinking about making an accessory and/or part of the garment out of matches.
